Grandma Weller's Famous Meatloaf

This meatloaf takes the cake in adding a little variety to the normal everyday meatloaf

Using ground beef and pork in combination gives the perfect taste that even your kids will like



  • 1 pound of Local Ground Beef (Preferably Weller Beef!)

  • 1 pound of Ground Pork

  • 15oz can of Tomato Sauce

  • 1 Small Onion, Chopped Fine

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1/4 Cup Milk

  • 1 Cup Dry Oatmeal

  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

  • Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  • Hand mix together in a large bowl all the ingredients except the meat

  • Break the raw meat into small pieces over the top of the wet mixture in the bowl.

  • Hand mix just until all mixed together DO NOT OVER MIX- It will make it too compact- You want it to be "Airy"

  • Lightly spread into a 9x13 baking pan

  • Sprinkle the top with a little bit of water, salt and pepper

  • Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, then reduce to 350 for another 30 minutes

  • Let stand for 10 minutes before consuming
