Cottage Pie with Weller Beef

Cottage Pie is much like Shepherd's Pie, except instead of using lamb, we use beef! And what better way to make a hearty dinner then making Cottage Pie with Weller Beef!


  • 6 Peeled Potatoes

  • Sour Cream

  • Butter

  • Onion Powder

  • Garlic Powder

  • Shredded Cheese

  • 1 pound of Weller Ground Beef

  • 1 Large Onion, chopped

  • 1 Tsp Minced Garlic

  • 2 1/2 Cups Beef Broth

  • 1/4 Cup Ketchup

  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce

  • Salt & Pepper

  • 1/4 Cup Water

  • 3 Tbs Corn Starch

  • 1 Can Green Beans

  • 1 Can Corn


  • Peel 6 Potatoes and boil for mashed potatoes

  • Mash potatoes and add sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder and cheese to your preferred consistency. Set aside

  • Brown ground beef with chopped onion and garlic

  • Add to the beef: broth, ketchup, worchestershire sauce, salt and pepper

  • Bring to a boil and stir in cornstarch and water slurry

  • Add in green beans and corn

  • Put entire mixture into a 9x13 baking casserole dish

  • Spread mashed potatoes over the top of the beef mixture

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top

  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 min

  • Enjoy!
